About David Snyder

David Snyder has been working as a writer and photographer for non-profit agencies since 1996. In that time, David has lived in both Kenya and South Africa, and has traveled to more than 55 countries to cover both emergency relief and development work for a variety of non-governmental organizations.

Along with his photography work, David also teaches photography courses to clients interested in teaching their staff how to take better photographs. David’s courses cover all aspects of photography, from lighting and framing to photography contracts, designed to accommodate those at all levels of skill.

Today, David lives in Baltimore, Maryland, and continues to travel often to document the work of aid agencies around the world.
